Compliance Intern

We are looking for a Compliance Intern to join us for 2 months.

This role will be working directly with our Head of Compliance and other members of the Cornerstone FS Compliance team to provide investigation and review support, in regard to possible risk indicators and alerts raised.

You will be helping the team to review and mitigate risk by providing vital investigative, research and analytical skills, which you will in turn use for decision-making purposes.

There will be a particular focus on international sanctions, as well as adverse media and politically exposed persons risks. You will also have the opportunity to assess current processes, as well as propose enhancements/efficiencies and implement new processes.

Furthermore, you will have a chance to review current third-party compliance tools, through analysing data sets, output results and making suggestions on changes. As well as the opportunity to assess a range of other third party providers and produce a business case for implementation of new tools which may be aligned with the business’ strategic goals.

Throughout the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to provide regular updates and recommendations to our Senior Leadership Team.

We will be there to support, mentor and guide you as you immerse yourself in the world fintech.
